Enjoy Free outdoor Sunday summer concerts with food, drinks and ice cream available. Bring your picnic baskets, lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a wide variety of musical presentations. Activities include a fun raffle which benefits a different local nonprofit group at every concert.

Explore the historic downtown of Arroyo Grande while visiting local shops and museums. You will make it a Sunday Summer Tradition!

The Arroyo Grande Village Summer Concert Series will be celebrating its 13th Anniversary this summer.  The Summer Series kicks off on Sunday, June 10th and continues through September 9th on the Rotary Bandstand in the Village of Arroyo Grande.  The Arroyo Grande Village Summer Concert Series is known for presenting the most eclectic and diverse musical offerings of all the regional summer concert series.  Featured entertainers this summer will include the ever popular Village Band on July 4th, bluegrass from the Honeysuckle Possums, classy blues and jazz vocals from Nicole Stromsoe and dance favorites Burning James and the Funky Flames.  The 2018 Series will also feature eight worthy regional nonprofit organizations and concert sponsors.  This free Series is presented by the Arroyo Grande Village Improvement Association and the City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Services Department.  
 
Rabobank returns in 2018 as the overall Series Sponsor.  Rabobank and its great staff have been supporters of the Village Summer Concert Series since its inception in 2006.  Rabobank's charming representatives greet concert attendees at every show with smiles, free waters and surprises!   Shari Barnhart, Arroyo Grande Rabobank Branch Manager and Area Vice President states "Rabobank is happy to again this year be the major sponsor of The Village Summer Concert Series.  We are so lucky to have these great events right here in our own backyard!  Rabobank is proud to be an active partner with our unique and beautiful Village of Arroyo Grande.”

The City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Services Department is proud to be part of this free community event where live music connects generations, individuals, and businesses alike in the Village of Arroyo Grande. ”
 
The series also welcomes back individual concert sponsors including the Mason Bar and Kitchen, the Arroyo Grande Rotary Club, the Kiwanis Club of Arroyo Grande Valley, Phillips 66 - Santa Maria Refinery, Scott Astrosky with Farmers Insurance and Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab.  A new concert sponsor this year is Financial Advisor Clifford Cook with Morgan Stanley.  Media sponsors for the 2018 Series are KSBY-TV, the Simply Clear newspapers, BigBigSLO and the community radio station KYXZ 107.9 FM.
 
These free summer concerts are held at the Rotary Bandstand in Heritage Square Park from June through September.  The South County Historical Society's famous all beef hot dogs, Doc Burnstein’s ice cream, popcorn, drinks and more are available at the shows.  Special raffles benefittng the Featured Nonprofit Organizations and various displays will further enliven the concerts.  Music fans can also explore Heritage Square Museums, antique shops and restaurants in the historic Arroyo Grande Village.  Refer to www.facebook.com/AGVillageConcerts and www.ArroyoGrandeVillage.org or call 805-473-2250 for more information on the Village Summer Concert Series and the VIA’s other community events.
